Nebulisation of Antisense Oligonucleotide (ASO) Danvatirsen with NebuFlow acoustic platform

Antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) are transforming precision medicine through selective gene silencing, but their inhaled delivery is limited by shear-induced degradation during aerosolisation. Here, we demonstrate the feasibility of nebulising Danvatirsen, a 16-mer gapmer ASO, using Nebu-Flow's novel aerosolisation platform. Post-nebulisation analyses confirmed preservation of both structural integrity and biological activity. These results demonstrate the potential of this platform to enable inhaled ASO delivery, supporting targeted treatment of respiratory diseases.
